The Opportunity This is not a traditional, back‑office reporting role. We are looking for a high‑caliber Commercial FP&A Manager or Senior Manager who wants to step into a highly commercial, visible position acting as the strategic link between the Cape Town center of excellence and global business leaders. You will own global FP&A processes, design sophisticated commercial frameworks, and translate complex multinational financial data into actionable insights that directly influence senior executive decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Commercial Business Partnering: Act as the primary financial advisor to international division leaders, offering strategic insights on commercial performance, market trends, and growth opportunities. Global FP&A Architecture: Drive and standardize the global budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes across multiple geographical territories and business units. Insight & Analytics: Translate large‑scale regional and divisional data into high‑level variance analysis, revenue pipeline tracking, and margin optimisation strategies. C‑Suite & Stakeholder Delivery: Formulate and present comprehensive monthly business reviews and commercial insights to the global executive leadership team. Process Transformation: Continually improve financial modelling and automation efforts within the SSC, leveraging advanced data visualization tools to build dynamic, real‑time dashboards. Who We Are Looking For Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience, with a heavy emphasis on commercial FP&A within a multinational, matrix, or global shared services environment. Tech industry experience is highly advantageous. Audit background would be preferred. Strategic Mindset: A professional who doesn't just run the numbers but possesses the commercial instinct to understand the story behind them and challenge the status quo. Communication & Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to collaborate with, influence, and push back on international divisional heads. Technical Excellence: Advanced financial modelling capabilities. Exposure to global ERP networks (e.g., SAP) and modern data analytics/BI tools is highly preferred. Qualifications: Ideally CA(SA) qual but also considering CIMA, MBA, or an equivalent professional finance qualification.
