A specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice in Midstream, Pretoria is seeking to recruit an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the front office team. The ideal candidate will be professional, organised, and confident in managing patient interactions and daily reception duties within a busy specialist environment. Duties and Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer incoming calls and take accurate messages Manage appointment scheduling and diary coordination File and maintain patient records Perform general front desk administration Scan and email documents as required Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area Support the practice with day to day administrative tasks Monitor office and reception supplies Assist with ordering stationery when required Respond to patient WhatsApp queries professionally and timeously Qualification and Requirements Matric / Grade 12 Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role Computer literacy essential Good verbal and written communication skills Experience in a medical practice advantageous Experience with GoodX advantageous Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice experience advantageous Skills and attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and empathetic patient approach High attention to detail Organised and reliable Well presented and professional Ability to work independently and within a team Strong time management and multitasking ability Calm and professional under pressure Work Hours Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 16h30, with occasional shifts extending to 17h00 Start date ASAP Only candidates who meet all the minimum requirements stipulated in the advert, will be considered.
