At Webfleet, we are looking for a Sales Representative based in Cape Town. We prefer experience in the vehicle telematics/fleet management industry, but a proven sales record and a passion for technology are essential. Role Hunt new business opportunities in and around Cape Town. Prospect, develop and close sales of telematics solutions to large, medium and small companies in the region. Source new sales leads and opportunities via direct approach (cold calling and prospecting). Develop and maintain a solid pipeline. Grow and maintain the existing customer base. Manage sales, training and customer relationships in Cape Town (and elsewhere in South Africa, if required). Support software partners in sales appointments when necessary. Achieve sales goals. Report on sales, opportunities and pipeline in a timely manner, using internal systems. Who you are You are a hunter and good at opening new accounts. Based in Cape Town. You know how to manage the entire sales cycle from detection to signature and achieve your objectives independently; proven track record in achieving sales targets. You are result‑oriented. You naturally develop your ecosystem and can build your client portfolio from scratch. You have at least three years of successful experience in direct B2B sales, ideally in a B2B SaaS/IT company. You have excellent listening, analytical, prioritization and organizational skills. You know how to use and develop your network. You are able to consistently and rigorously complete weekly sales reports (sales forecast + activities). Familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus, but it can be learned.
