Now Hiring | Oracle Financials Functional Lead We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Lead to provide senior functional support and business solutions leadership within a complex ERP environment . This role is suited to a candidate with strong experience across Oracle Financials , ERP business analysis , solution configuration , testing , process optimisation , and functional support . You will play a leading role in supporting transactional finance-related ERP capabilities, partnering with business stakeholders to understand future requirements, improve processes, and ensure ERP solutions remain fit for purpose, effective, and aligned with business needs. The successful candidate will combine hands‑on Oracle Financials functional expertise with strong business analysis and stakeholder engagement capability. This is not a purely technical role. It requires someone who can lead functional discussions, drive analysis initiatives, coordinate testing and support activities, provide guidance to analysts and users, and help shape future ERP improvements. Key responsibilities Lead the provision of functional support across allocated Oracle Financials / transactional ERP modules Drive business analysis initiatives across ERP-related business processes and system enhancements Partner with business owners to define future requirements, identify optimisation opportunities, and propose practical ERP solutions Lead a team of ERP business analysts or work across cross-functional teams on complex initiatives Support functional solution design, configuration, testing, enhancements, and ongoing support Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes with stakeholders Apply best practice to improve and re‑engineer business processes for better efficiency and control Work closely with business architects and stakeholders to support ERP roadmaps, reference models, and future‑state requirements Support change requirements, training activities, and solution adoption Develop training materials, user guides, and support documentation Identify, manage, and elevate risks within assigned ERP functional areas Quality assure the work and outputs of ERP business analysts and functional support resources Key skills and experience required Strong functional experience across Oracle Financials or similar transactional ERP finance environments Strong experience in ERP business analysis , including requirements gathering, process analysis, functional design, and solution support Experience in configuration, testing, enhancements, and general ERP functional support Strong understanding of finance processes , accounting logic, transaction flows, and control requirements Experience leading or mentoring analysts, support teams, or functional workstreams Strong stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to work directly with business owners and end users Experience coordinating UAT , functional testing, and business readiness activities Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability Experience in process optimisation, continuous improvement, or business transformation within ERP environments Working knowledge of SQL within an ERP or reporting context is advantageous Ideal candidate profile The ideal candidate will be a senior Oracle Financials functional professional who is comfortable operating across business support, functional leadership, analysis, testing, configuration, and process improvement.
