Cox South Africa is looking for a Skills Development Manager , to be based in Johannesburg to lead learning and development initiatives, ensuring workforce skills align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Learning and Development Strategy: Design, implement, and manage training programs to address skills gaps and support organisational objectives. Compliance and Reporting: Coordinate submission of annual Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR) to comply with regulatory requirements and maximize recovery of skills development levies. Program Design and Delivery: Collaborate with internal experts and external training providers to develop curricula, learning solutions, and innovative training initiatives that enhance employee competencies. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with diverse stakeholders, including SETAs, service providers, and internal teams, to ensure training programs are effective and impactful. Evaluation and Metrics: Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring measurable outcomes and return on investment. Resource Management: Oversee financial, human, and operational resources to deliver the skills development plan efficiently. Qualifications and Experience: 3+ years of management experience in a multi-site or large organization. Proven experience in learning design, development, and delivery. Familiarity with SETAs and skills development frameworks in South Africa. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, or Organizational Development are often preferred. Knowledge of skills development legislation, BBBEE policies, and compliance requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and teams effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
