Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across residential units, communal areas, and facilities Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control are consistently maintained Carry out routine inspections and quality checks Train, support, and motivate housekeeping staff Manage staff rotas, attendance, and performance Monitor cleaning supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests and concerns Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and procedures Skills and Competencies A caring and respectful approach when working with older adults Strong leadership and team management skills Good knowledge of cleaning standards and health & safety practices Excellent attention to detail and organisation Positive, reliable, and adaptable Qualifications Minimum – Grade 12 / Matric Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervisory role (experience in healthcare or residential settings advantageous) Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment Health and Safety training is advantageous Strong communication and team coordination skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
