Product Specialist – Cardiothoracic Location: Gauteng Salary: R50,000 – R70,000 per month Industry: Medical Devices / Healthcare About the Role A leading player in the healthcare sector is seeking a Product Specialist within the Cardiothoracic division to drive sales, support clinical procedures, and build strong relationships within hospital environments. This role is ideal for someone with a clinical background who has moved into sales or is looking to transition into a commercial role. Key Responsibilities Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing Build and maintain relationships with: Cardiologists Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeons ICU and theatre staff Provide clinical and technical product support during procedures Conduct product training, demonstrations, and in‑service sessions Identify new business opportunities and grow market share Support implementation of sales and marketing strategies Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and stock management Minimum Requirements Qualified: Perfusionist OR Cardiac Scrub Nurse OR Cardiac ICU Nurse Minimum 3 years medical sales experience (cardiac or related field preferred) Strong clinical knowledge with ability to engage in theatre environments Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel What We’re Looking For Strong communicator with excellent relationship‑building skills Confident in high‑pressure clinical environments Sales‑driven with a track record of meeting targets Professional, self‑motivated, and well‑organised Why Apply?
