This opportunity is suited to a mechanically inclined individual with solid experience in power tool repairs, hydraulics, and fault-finding who thrives in a structured workshop environment. Role Purpose: To determine root causes of failure and perform repairs on electrical power tools and hydraulic units, including routine inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to workshop standards. Minimum Requirements: Matric (Compulsory) Minimum N3 with Electrical Trade Theory At least 3 years’ experience as a Power Tool Technician Previous repair experience (essential) Power Tool Repairs Certificate (advantageous) Knowledge of major brands such as Bosch, Makita, etc. (advantageous) Experience in fault-finding (essential) Exposure to SAP Business One (advantageous) Technical Skills & Knowledge: Hands-on technical capability High-pressure hydraulics fault-finding and repairs Pneumatics fault-finding, maintenance and repairs Electrical power tool diagnostics and repair Strong attention to detail Good interpersonal and communication skills Key Responsibilities: Book in units for repair and create detailed job cards Diagnose faults and repair hydraulic units and power tools Perform routine maintenance and inspections Conduct quality control checks Mentor learnerships by teaching repair skills Assist customers and reps with offloading units when required Maintain workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards Submit required reports Reporting to: Branch Manager A-Player Attributes: Takes ownership Efficient and effective Strong problem-solving ability Organised and structured Driven and accountable Team player Send your CV to: Subject line: MID627 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
