Required Qualifications National Diploma or Certificate in Draughting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or related field. AutoCAD certification or relevant CAD training. Revit MEP training or certification is advantageous. Additional fire protection or plumbing design courses are beneficial. Skills & Experience Required 25+ years experience in wet services and/or fire services draughting. Strong working knowledge of: AutoCAD Revit MEP BIM coordination MS Office Understanding of: Plumbing systems Fire protection systems Water reticulation Drainage systems Hydraulic principles Knowledge of South African building regulations and SANS standards, particularly: SANS 10400 Fire protection regulations Plumbing standards Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings. Strong technical detailing and coordination skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Good organizational and time-management skills. Professional approach and technical mindset. Valid drivers license may be advantageous for site visits.
