AFTERSALES & WORKSHOP MANAGER Swellendam, Western Cape A well-established and reputable organisation within the automotive sector is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Aftersales & Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of its Service Centre. This senior, hands‑on role is ideally suited to a commercially driven individual with strong leadership capability and a solid understanding of workshop and aftersales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational performance, managing workshop and parts functions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities Workshop Operations Oversee and coordinate daily workshop activities to ensure efficient workflow and productivity Lead daily operational meetings and provide updates on client matters, warranty claims, stock levels, and departmental performance Ensure workshop booking systems and operational processes are consistently followed Review and approve job cards to ensure accuracy and completeness Operational Performance Drive Service Centre performance, including parts and accessory sales Monitor and optimise workshop productivity and efficiency Lead daily team engagements, resolve operational challenges, and support achievement of departmental targets Approve major repair quotations and ensure accurate costing Monitor stock levels, parts usage, and outstanding accounts Administration & Warranty Management Oversee all administrative functions within the Service Centre to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage warranty processes, including submissions, tracking, and adherence to manufacturer requirements Ensure accurate record‑keeping and timely reporting across all operational areas Customer Service Ensure a high standard of customer service and client satisfaction is consistently delivered Manage client relationships and effectively resolve escalated queries or complaints Drive a customer‑centric culture within the aftersales team Team Leadership Lead, manage, and support Motor Technicians and Service Advisors Allocate and prioritise daily tasks to ensure productivity and service targets are achieved Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and development Manage staff attendance, leave, and overtime Requirements Proven experience in an aftersales or workshop management role within the motor industry Strong leadership and people management skills Solid understanding of workshop operations, systems, and performance metrics Experience with warranty administration processes Strong administrative and organisational capability Customer‑focused with a commitment to service excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
