RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Working in steel industry. At least 2 years’ experience in warehouse environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATION Grade 12 certificate or Equivalent qualification. BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS Product Knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Hardworking and reliable. Be able to work under pressure. Be able to work shift. Knowledge of Warehouse layout. Proven ability to make decisions Attention to details. PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE POSITION Eliminate stock damages and consumable wastage. Thoroughly check stock before loading Attention to Detail (investigate and rectify anything that looks incorrect no matter how small) Load balancing as per type of steel and hardness. To make sure that stock that is loaded out of Central warehouse is correct and is physically checked and verified in terms of all dimensions, quantity as well as quality. General house keeping KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Assist in loading and offloading of Material. To identify, check and verify goods loaded against authorized loading documents.
