Employer Description Hotel in Gqeberha Job Description Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen and a passion for service excellence. Key Responsibilities Revenue management : Maximize food and beverage revenue, control costs and ensure profitability. Inventory control : Manage stock levels, minimize wastage and maintain accurate POS records. Team leadership : Supervise restaurant staff, recruit and onboard new employees and manage performance. Compliance : Ensure adherence to food safety, health and audit standards. Service excellence : Deliver seamless dining experiences, respond to guest feedback and uphold brand standards. Administration : Oversee departmental procedures, rostering and reporting. Innovation : Identify and implement new ideas to enhance service, efficiency and product offerings. Qualifications Grade 12 plus Diploma in Food & Beverage Management (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years in a junior supervisory role within hospitality/restaurant sector. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite); POS and inventory system experience advantageous. SASA Junior Sommelier Certificate or higher is an advantage.
