This is not just a support role. You will: Own and stabilise our internal IT environment Operate confidently as the primary IT specialist in the business Be a core member of the Data & Systems team Introduce structure, documentation, and repeatable processes Grow into supporting business systems, automation, and integrations You will work alongside a Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, and Analytics Engineer, forming an integrated Data & Systems function that supports the entire business. Your Key Responsibilities IT & Internal Systems Ownership Provision, configure, and support macOS, Windows, and Chromebooks Manage full device lifecycle including onboarding, replacements, repairs, and returns Maintain accurate and up-to-date device inventory Enforce standardised device configurations and security controls Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and software issues Introduce structured device and asset management practices Identity, Access & Security Management Manage Google Workspace user accounts, permissions, and group access Coordinate Microsoft licensing and access management Ensure structured onboarding and offboarding processes Enforce MFA, password standards, and access hygiene Apply least-privilege principles across systems Conduct periodic access reviews to reduce risk Network & Office Infrastructure Work with the ISP to monitor network uptime and resolve connectivity issues Troubleshoot device access and WiFi performance challenges Support office printer setup and maintenance coordination Ensure meeting rooms function reliably including displays, Chromecast, and connectivity IT Support & Operational Reliability Act as first-line IT support across the business Diagnose and resolve internal IT issues efficiently Escalate and manage vendors or service providers where required Follow issues through to full resolution with ownership Balance responsiveness with structured processes Documentation & Operational Resilience Establish and maintain clear IT Standard Operating Procedures Document systems, hardware setups, and access models Reduce key-person risk through structured knowledge sharing Continuously improve processes to ensure they are secure, repeatable, and scalable Business Systems Support & Growth Support user access and role configuration in Zoho Desk and Zoho CRM Assist with workflow configurations and operational system settings Perform routine system health checks Support internal documentation and system training Build capability in automation, integrations, and system-to-system interactions Develop practical understanding of how systems support sales, support, and operational workflows Reports to: Core Team: Systems Analyst Data Analyst IT & Systems Analyst (you) Partners with: People (HR) Team Operational stakeholders Cross-functional business teams Requirements Preferred Experience & Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in IT support, systems support, or technical operations Exposure to CRM or helpdesk systems is advantageous Experience in a scale-up or operational environment is beneficial Attributes & Skills Confident operating as the only dedicated IT specialist Takes full accountability for internal IT stability Comfortable working without a mature IT department structure Handles both small operational tasks and critical incidents with equal care Technical Foundations Strong understanding of hardware, operating systems, and networking basics Comfortable working across SaaS platforms Conceptual understanding of how systems integrate Willingness to learn workflow automations Communication & Team Integration Communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders Explains technical challenges in practical terms Works as an integrated member of the Data & Systems team Partners closely with operational teams to ensure systems remain aligned to business needs Values documentation and repeatability Prioritises security and consistency Introduces standards rather than ad hoc fixes Follows issues through rather than handing them off Work on real, high-impact data problems in logistics and e-commerce.
