We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for our client based Johannesburg North,Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience in warehousing and logistics, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role. A relevant tertiary qualification and proven ability to manage people, processes, and compliance are essential. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management . Minimum 10 years experience in warehousing/logistics, with 5 years at management level . Strong knowledge of warehousing systems (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office. Sound understanding of health, safety, and legal compliance in warehousing. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Valid drivers licence (Code 08 or higher). Advantageous: Knowledge of cold storage, FMCG, or manufacturing warehouse environments . Key Responsibilities Oversee the full warehouse function including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and distribution. Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and labour legislation requirements. Manage stock accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes. Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Lead and mentor a team of supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff. Ensure security, housekeeping, and maintenance of warehouse facilities. Manage supplier and transporter relationships to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery. Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs, and budgets. Maintain compliance with customs, SARS, and other regulatory requirements where applicable.
