Overview The Civil Engineering Technician will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, as well as contributing to the company’s tendering and business development efforts. Responsibilities Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordination of civil engineering projects. Monitor project progress and support timely, cost-effective delivery. Conduct site inspections and ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Provide technical support and interpret drawings and project documents. Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports. Support tendering processes, including sourcing opportunities, preparing submissions, developing programmes, attending briefing sessions. Assist with pricing, BoQs, and obtaining supplier/subcontractor quotations. Support procurement and monitor project costs. Engage with clients, consultants, and suppliers professionally. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards. Provide general project and administrative support to the Managing Director. Minimum Requirements South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34. Must not have participated on the YES programme before. Matric. National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
