Position Overview We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials management and a strong understanding of supply chain processes. The Material Handler will be responsible for handling, storing, and distributing materials to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store materials in designated areas Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse Pick and pack materials according to customer orders Load and unload materials onto trucks for delivery Ensure materials are stored in a safe and organized manner Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or overages Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience in materials handling or warehouse operations Forklift certification is preferred Strong understanding of supply chain processes Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and move heavy materials Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other computer programs Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and teamwork skills Contract Details This is a full-time, permanent position based in Cape Town, South Africa.
