Business Development Manager – WC and EC Regions This role covers the WC and EC regions (to be based in the WC region). Qualifications & Experience Minimum five years’ experience in sales, merchandising, business development, or support functions within rural and/or township economies, specifically serving small and medium enterprises. Experience in the financial services sector, including product design, product development, or product management. Minimum five years of client‑facing sales experience and a proven track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships. Minimum bachelor’s of commerce degree or equivalent qualification. Skills & Competencies Strong documentation and presentation skills for communicating complex concepts and delivering impactful presentations. Ability to present in Manco, run projects and events, and interact with large audiences. Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to nurture and expand professional networks in rural and township contexts. Adaptable, curious, sales‑driven, and client‑centric. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships within rural and township markets. Expand professional networks and identify business opportunities across the WC and EC regions. Prepare and deliver clear reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Run projects and events to promote and support financial products for small and medium enterprises.
