Purpose of the Job To maintain, repair, and upkeep mining equipment. Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and diagnose problems to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent Applicable Training Structures 1‑Year experience as an Engineering Assistant Competencies Adheres to safety regulations and mine standards, procedures and practices and reports non‑compliance. Participates in regular safety meetings and makes recommendations to ensure overall safety. Performs regular inspections in area of work and reports hazards to ensure environment safety and hazard free and recommends remedial action where necessary. Builds, supports and maintains healthy diverse internal relations and implements remedial actions where required. Provides relevant support to stakeholders to ensure team objectives are achieved.
