Job Overview Luxury Private Game Reserve with Head Offices in Cape Town seeks a Marketing Executive with a high-end safari or luxury hospitality background. The Marketing Executive will assist in developing the strategic direction and annual plans for marketing operations across the organisation and coordinate and direct marketing activities to maximize occupancy at the highest achievable rates while achieving a fair share of the market. Responsibilities Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring all activations across digital, email, social and other channels present a cohesive, consistent, and effective story of the properties. Work with the Branding and Optimisation Manager to develop and maintain brand identity across all internal and external channels and touchpoints, enhancing brand awareness and fostering a strong brand culture. Travel to international and local trade shows, host in‑office trainings and sales calls, and engage in contracting and rate distribution as required. Coordinate external suppliers, agencies and freelancers to produce high‑quality collateral on a timely basis. Prepare month‑end reporting and meet set deadlines. Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and a strong sense of urgency to meet needs and expectations. Work independently without detailed instructions and build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Support the delivery of exceptional and personalized services and foster an environment of collaboration and commitment. Qualifications Grade 12 education. Extensive background in Marketing (and Sales). A formal management qualification is advantageous. 3‑5 years of experience in marketing operations for luxury 5* properties or lodges. Ability to anticipate future circumstances, think strategically and tactically, recognise market and revenue concerns, and negotiate shrewdly. Strong analytical skills for benchmarking studies, market trends, and online marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, search, and measurement analytics. Proficiency in creating sales strategies, developing action plans with local and international trade partners, and negotiating distribution costs. Proficiency in managing various advertising channels, including websites and Microsoft Office applications, and any other marketing tools as required. Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
