Qualification Mechanical Engineering Degree / Diploma Requirements Minimum 3 years' Project Management experience in the mining / process plant environment is essential Experience from EPC/EPCM type Project management would be an advantage Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and best practices Demonstrate a firm grip of Budget control, Schedule control, quality management with a keen eye on communication Must be of South African Origin Will be based permanently in Mauritius on site and work from the office daily. Will report to the Project Manager Duties Responsible for managing assigned projects from start to completion, ensuring delivery in line with NCP’s standards for cost, quality, time, and scope. Control, monitor and report on project budgets and cashflow. Manage FOREX requirements, critical payment milestones and overspend approvals. Issue and manage purchase orders in line with Levels of Authority. Review, approve, and manage MDRs, QCMDs, QCPs, NCRs and TQRs. Conduct ongoing inspections to ensure components meet quality assurance standards. Perform final inspection release with Quality personnel. Prepare and manage project schedules and regularly report progress. Issue Early Warning notices related to delays or force majeure. Participate in project handover and contract review meetings. Manage scope, variation orders, and correct invoicing. Coordinate component deliveries, documentation, and handover certificates. Manage freight budgets, packing lists, delivery notes, commercial invoices, scheduling, risks, and insurance. Manage site budgets, quality control, QCPs, inspection reports, scheduling, daily diaries, risks, and travel logistics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
