PERMIT ADMINISTRATOR Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about the renewable energy sector? Stage Zero is looking for a Permit Administrator to join our dynamic Planning team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure our installations are fully compliant with utility regulations by managing all permit-related processes with precision and professionalism. POSITION LOCATION Johannesburg (In Office) QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Grade 12 Relevant diploma in business administration, electrical engineering, or a related field will be advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 5 years’ experience in utility application processes. 5 years’ experience in a planning or renewable energy environment. 2 years working experience with GIS platforms. Experience with GIS tools (e.g., Google Earth, Municipal Mapviewer). Ability to read technical drawings (electrical SLDs, site plans). Familiarity with municipal online submission platforms. Confident communicator with a positive and professional attitude. NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE Prepare and submit accurate utility application packs for Stage Zero products. Track and manage applications from submission to approval across various platforms. Engage with utility providers and build strong, professional relationships. Interpret and apply utility policies and procedures to maintain compliance. Monitor changes to utility regulations and alert the team accordingly.
