Job Description: Lead fire safety and compliance design for multidisciplinary building projects Deliver rational fire designs, including smoke evacuation, stair pressurisation, and sprinkler systems Manage medium to large projects independently or within a broader design team Represent projects in client, design, and site meetings Oversee tender documentation, project administration, and technical outputs Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Skills & Experience: Minimum 10+ years experience in fire engineering within building services Strong expertise in SANS fire design standards and rational fire safety design In-depth experience in sprinkler systems, smoke control, and fire protection design Exposure to complex commercial, industrial, or mixed‑use building projects Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills High level of technical reporting and communication ability Qualification: BEng / BTech Mechanical Engineering ECSA registration (PrEng/PrTechEng) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
