Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager – Comminution Division to lead growth, innovation, and operational excellence across capital equipment, aftermarket, and services. As General Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance and strategic direction of the Comminution Division, including: Drive above-inflation revenue growth and sustainable profitability Deliver annual budgets, forecasts, margins, and cash flow targets Grow the installed base and aftermarket pull-through Market Leadership & Product Differentiation Strengthen market positioning through innovative, reliable comminution solutions Lead product development, localization, and lifecycle optimization Translate customer needs into differentiated technical and commercial offerings Oversee sales strategy, pipelines, tenders, pricing, and contract risk Maintain strong senior-level customer relationships Ensure disciplined project costing and contractual compliance Strategy, Governance & Execution Develop and execute divisional strategy and operating plans Track KPIs and lead corrective actions Contribute to senior management and governance forums Engineering, Quality & Project Delivery Provide engineering oversight and ensure ISO 9001 compliance Support project execution and act as escalation point when required Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification Leadership & People Development Build and lead a high-performing management team Drive accountability, capability development, and succession planning Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with legal, safety, environmental, and BBBEE requirements Embed a strong risk-aware and ethical culture Requirements Engineering Degree (Business or Management qualification advantageous) Minimum 7 years’ senior leadership experience in mining or heavy engineering Strong commercial, financial, and contract management capability Deep technical knowledge of comminution products and applications Willingness to travel locally and internationally #J-18808-Ljbffr
