Interim HR Group Leader (2–3 days per week) Are you a senior HR leader who thrives in complex, fast‑paced industrial environments? For an industrial engineering services organisation, we are looking for an Interim HR Group Leader to support the business during a period of change and growth. This is an interim assignment for 2–3 days per week . The role As Interim HR Group Leader, you will provide both strategic and hands‑on HR leadership to the organisation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will guide the HR function through organisational development initiatives, people and talent strategies, and change management activities. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and play a key role in strengthening HR capability across the business. Key responsibilities Provide tactical and strategic HR leadership to support business objectives Lead and support organisational design, development and change initiatives Drive people development, leadership capability and team effectiveness Support talent acquisition and workforce planning in a complex labour environment Ensure compliance with labour legislation, equity requirements and statutory obligations Strengthen HR processes, systems and governance (including HRIS where applicable) Design and deliver key HR projects and initiatives with measurable impact Coach and support HR team members and senior stakeholders Your profile Senior HR professional with 5–7+ years’ experience in a leadership role Experience in industrial, engineering or technical services environments Strong background in organisational development, change management and people strategy Solid understanding of labour legislation, employment equity and designated employer responsibilities Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and stakeholder management skills Resilient, adaptable and able to make impact in an interim setting Experience with HR systems and reporting tools is a strong advantage The organisation Approximately 300–400 permanent employees and up to 2,500 temporary workers National footprint with ambitions to grow across Southern Africa Services include engineering solutions, scaffolding and rope access, insulation, surface protection and NDT Interim role Start: as soon as possible Ideal for experienced interim or fractional HR leaders #J-18808-Ljbffr
