Overview Registered Nurse – Neuro Scrub (Full Time) Location: PretoriaREF: MVG/NS We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Neuro Scrub nursing to join a leading private hospital in Centurion. As a Neuro Scrub Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting complex neurological and ENT procedures, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse Minimum of 3 years’ experience in theatre nursing, with a focus on neurological procedures Proven competence in cranial, inter-cranial, and spinal surgeries Proficient in handling specialised neuro equipment, including microscopes, spinal beds, and CUSA Experience in ENT surgery is essential Sound knowledge of general and specialised nursing theory and modern clinical practices Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team and act as a clinical resource Strong documentation, planning, and emergency response skills Responsibilities Deliver advanced, individualised nursing care in line with clinical protocols and best practice Support and mentor junior staff and students in collaboration with clinical facilitators Participate in policy development, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Contribute to continuous improvement in patient care and operational efficiency This role is ideal for a nurse who combines technical expertise with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care.
