Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing, monitoring and optimising digital marketing initiatives, including paid search (Google and LinkedIn Ads), that achieve lead generation, brand building and revenue growth objectives across all entities. It combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. Responsibilities include Set the strategic direction and tone for digital marketing within Smollan Technologies (ST), identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage Evaluate and adopt emerging tools, platforms, and trends to keep ST at the forefront of digital marketing, e.g., GEO/AEO Analyse and report on performance with actionable insights to improve campaign ROI and lead generation Collaborate with sales, product owners, and marketing colleagues to deliver integrated multi‑channel campaigns Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of digital marketing excellence Manage budgets for digital marketing initiatives to ensure optimal allocation and measurable returns Plan, execute, and optimise paid digital campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Remarketing) and LinkedIn Campaign Manager for each business unit within the ST cluster, tailoring messaging and targeting per entity while maintaining alignment with group objectives Navigate and support a cluster business model by understanding the distinct value proposition, audience, and market positioning of each business unit within ST during the consolidation phase, and applying strategic thinking to balance unified group branding with individual entity marketing needs Understanding of website strategy, optimisation, and performance tracking, including collaboration with development and design teams Support website strategy and optimisation for ST, ensuring websites across all business units deliver exceptional user experiences, support SEO objectives, and drive lead generation. Understanding content strategy development, cross‑channel content planning and quality control across written, visual and multimedia formats Requirements Your skills and experience include A tertiary qualification- Relevant degree/diploma/ certificate in Marketing/ Communication or relevant field. Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant digital marketing experience with demonstrated ability to operate independently Experience in managing budgets and measuring marketing ROI Advantageous Online Marketing certified Professional Digital Marketing Institute Certificate Understanding and interest in software and technology - software, solutions and services Basic understanding and knowledge of retail and supply chain Knowledge Proven track record in developing and implementing multi‑channel digital marketing strategies Expert knowledge of SEO, SEO, SEM, PPC and analytics platforms Google Analytics, Google Ads ( Search, Display & Remarketing), LinkedIn Campaign Manager, LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Ads, and Site Audits Awareness of emerging shifts in the search landscape, including Generative Engine Optimisation ( GEO ) and Answer Engine Optimisations for B2B content and visibility strategy. Familiarity with digital transformation concepts and emerging technologies in marketing. Strong understanding of marketing automation, lead generation funnels, and conversion rate optimisation.
