Our client, a growing organisation in the renewable energy space, is looking for a results-driven Financial Accountant to manage key reporting and compliance functions. This is your chance to work in an innovative sector where your contribution directly supports long-term business sustainability.Key Responsibilities: Compile and finalise annual financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards Oversee VAT and tax processes, including calculations, submissions, and compliance Process and review journals while ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations Prepare and analyse income statements and balance sheets Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records Assist with month-end close and reporting requirements Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal controls Deliver insightful financial information to support business operations Experience: BCom Accounting degree Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles 35 years' post-articles experience in a similar capacity Industry exposure within renewable energy will be highly advantageous Skills: Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise Sound knowledge of VAT and taxation principles Excellent reconciliation and attention-to-detail skills Strong Excel proficiency Ability to manage deadlines in a structured environment Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Apply today and position yourself within a forward-thinking industry.
