Based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, this reputable company is seeking a Senior Creditors Controller to join their team. Duties & Responsibilities Processing of banks via Bank Manager on Pastel Version 19 Processing Purchase Orders Collaborating with Buyers to check pricing, order quantities, and avoid double ordering Pulling Purchase Order Reports and following up with Buyers regarding stock and delivery issues Processing all Supplier Invoices to ensure goods have been received and charged correctly Following up on claims, credits, and overcharges from suppliers Processing and following up on all Debit Order Payments & Invoices Collecting and processing Credit Card/Debit Card slips, invoices, and expenses for both branches Managing Supplier Credit applications for both branches Reconciling all accounts within 30 days Preparing Monthly Supplier Reports with Month-end Payment Summaries Sending out Remittances to Suppliers to clarify payments and resolve queries Maintaining good relationships with Suppliers Managing COD Payments and Petty Cash Processing and downloading Waybills for Freight, ensuring invoices match signed Waybills Preparing Monthly Fuel Reports for Cape Town, monitoring budget regarding fuel expenses Generating Monthly Tracker Reports to check vehicle usage over weekends and following up with the Manager Performing ad hoc tasks as required Desired Experience & Qualifications Grade 12 with Maths/Accountancy preferred Additional qualifications after Grade 12 are advantageous but not essential A minimum of 8 to 10 years' proven Senior Creditors Control experience is necessary Essential to have previous Pastel Version 19 knowledge and experience Proficiency in MS Office including Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook, and Email is essential Knowledge of Bank Manager on Pastel is required Experience in building relationships with Suppliers is a necessity Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail Deadline-driven team player is essential Package & Remuneration R22,000 - R25,000 depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
