This permanent role supports the Branch Manager in daily operations, financial control, stock management, staff supervision and customer service. About the Company VKB Group is an agricultural company that supplies farmers and produces straight‑from‑the‑farm foods for consumers. The group operates under several regional brands, including VKB, GWK and NTK, and is involved in farming, processing, logistics and market distribution. Key Responsibilities Assist with day‑to‑day supervision of branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies. Support the Branch Manager in financial controls, monitoring sales, expenses and budgets. Participate in stock management – receiving, merchandising, monitoring levels, ordering, claims and stock taking. Provide input on personnel supervision – shift planning, coaching and staff development. Maintain high standards of customer service, handling queries and complaints promptly. Help ensure the branch complies with legislative and safety requirements. Contribute to marketing and promotions to drive sales growth and branch visibility. Act on behalf of the Branch Manager when required. Requirements Matric / NQF4; a tertiary qualification is an advantage. 2–3 years’ experience in agricultural retail. Computer‑savvy – proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Willingness to learn, grow and occasionally work after hours. Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and as a true team player.
