Enterprise Systems Specialist: Virtualization - (8708) To support and administer the enterprise virtualisation environment and associated infrastructure services within ICTS. The role is responsible for ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and stability of virtualised server environments and supporting enterprise systems aligned to institutional operational and technology objectives. Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant VMware, virtualization or infrastructure certifications will be advantageous. At least four (4) years’ experience in VMware or enterprise virtualization platforms. Experience with enterprise server, storage and data centre environments. Experience with high availability, clustering and performance optimisation. Experience in the Higher Education environment will be advantageous. Key Performance Areas & Principal Accountabilities Virtualisation Environment Administration.
