The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting stock management processes, and assisting the Financial Manager with day-to-day financial and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience up to trial balance, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Experience with stock control, reconciliations, and month‑end processes will be advantageous. Bookkeeping Capture and maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance. Process and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable. Perform bank reconciliation and cash up. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Stock Management Monitor and maintain accurate stock records. Perform regular stock reconciliation and variance analysis. Coordinate stock takes and investigate discrepancies. Work closely with operations to ensure stock accuracy and control. Assistant to Financial Manager Provide day-to-day support to the Financial Manager. Prepare schedules and reports for audits or reviews. Handle ad hoc financial and administrative tasks. Ensure compliance with internal processes and control. Requirements Must reside in Helderberg area (Somerset West, Strand, or Gordon’s Bay) Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes. Experience with Pastel Partner and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
