Our Johannesburg and Cape Town sites are key hubs for our Business Area Racks & Storage, and we are now looking for our next star: a passionate B2B Sales Brand Representative to join our team in Johannesburg. About the Position The B2B Brand Representative’s goal is to build strong customer relationships, increase brand awareness to ultimately increase the brand value and drive sales on Front Runner products in the various territories. A professional appearance and a friendly, engaging character are crucial. Explaining, demonstrating, and persuading are key attributes to this position. Researching and working on current opportunities to create visibility for the brand across all sales channels. Your Main Responsibilities Business Development: Identify new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and sales channels. Customer Focus: Understand customer needs, provide effective solutions, ensure satisfaction, and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients. Sales & Strategy: Develop and implement sales programs, set objectives, close opportunities, and meet sales targets. Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team on promotional strategies, visibility, and dealer support. Networking & Representation: Attend shows, exhibitions, club days, dealer visits, and organize showroom/networking events. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on 4x4 and outdoor trends, visit industry exhibitions, and provide market feedback to HQ. Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise with finance, logistics, warehousing, and other departments for smooth operations. Customer Service: Handle B2B queries, manage relationships, provide support via Zendesk, and assist with B2C when needed. Administration: Maintain and update customer/sales data, manage contacts, and support day-to-day sales and administrative duties. Team Engagement: Participate in weekly sales meetings and collaborate across departments. Professional Conduct: Engage in customer entertainment responsibly, following company guidelines. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a sales environment (automotive industry experience advantageous). Skills, competencies & characteristics Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy, reporting ability, and basic math skills. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English, active listening, strong phone handling, and interpersonal abilities. Customer Orientation: Exceptional customer service, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills. Personal Attributes: Professional, dynamic, motivated, outgoing, enthusiastic about outdoor lifestyle and vehicle equipment. Organizational Skills: Strong administration, time management, punctuality, and problem-solving abilities.
