Job Title And Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of the Diligent GRC and Diligent ACL platforms. The Business Analyst will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, audit, risk, compliance, and technical implementation teams to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, translated, and implemented successfully. Employment type: Contract (6–12 months, renewable based on project requirements) Reporting to: Head of Services Working environment: Team-oriented environment. Driver's license or own transport is essential. Possible travel into the rest of Africa. Working hours: Remote Role: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm when in the office. When based at client sites, the individual will need to work the working hours stipulated by the client. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyse business requirements related to governance, enterprise risk management, compliance management, internal audit, policy management, issue management, and controls monitoring. Engage stakeholders across risk, compliance, internal audit, finance, and IT functions to document relevant business requirements. Analyse business challenges and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Develop business-focused test scenarios and user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts. Coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders and process owners. Validate implemented workflows and controls align with documented business requirements. Translate business requirements into clear, well-defined, testable user stories within D1P, supported by detailed acceptance criteria and relevant documentation. Translate GRC business requirements into functional specifications for the Diligent GRC and ACL implementation teams. Prepare and maintain comprehensive GRC project documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps and workflow diagrams, risk and controls matrices, compliance mapping documentation, SOPs and training manuals. Facilitate communication between business, risk, audit, compliance, and technical implementation teams. Assist with development of training materials and user communication plans. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Professional Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in GRC, risk management, compliance, audit, or governance-related field. Experience supporting enterprise GRC platform implementations. Strong understanding of governance, risk management, compliance, internal audit, and internal controls processes. Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation. Understanding of system integration and API-driven environments.
