Merchandising of stock, shelf price labelling and housekeeping within designated area of responsibility. Responsibilities Provide customer service in-store; advise and assist customers on correct products and queries; assist with and resolve customer complaints. Support merchandising standards: merchandise bulk stock areas safely and according to store layout plan; ensure area is fully merchandised according to store layout and planograms. Maintain housekeeping: keep area free of obstacles, ensure stock is merchandised promptly after receipt, and ensure customers can enter and leave aisles safely; ensure correct shelf price labelling within area of responsibility; complete checklists when on duty with canteen and toilet/showers schedule. Safety (OHSA) compliance: use safety gear as required and ensure safety of customers and staff within area of responsibility; report discrepancies to the Store Manager; manage stock loss; report damaged stock.
