Minimum Requirements Matric or relevant NQF 4 qualification Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a procurement or buying role Valid drivers licence and own vehicle Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer literacy Experience with the Syspro software system Key Responsibilities Execute local purchasing activities in collaboration with the Stores and Procurement Supervisor Place, manage, and track purchase orders in Syspro for materials, services, consumables, and tools Communicate with external suppliers regarding pricing, availability, certification, and delivery status Process workshop and office consumable orders to support operational requirements Follow up on supplier lead times to ensure on‑time delivery and continuity of operations Inspect received goods and coordinate quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications Manage supplier NCRs in line with company supplier delivery procedures Coordinate and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers Liaise with stores on stock levels, conduct weekly stock reviews, and process orders accordingly Maintain and update the supplier database, source new suppliers, and control certified orders (e.g. Explolabs) Maintain accurate administrative records, filing, tool control, and stock take participation, and perform ad‑hoc duties as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
