You will be employed by Rainbow Marketing and dedicated full‑time to Ladles of Love, one of South Africa’s most respected food security NPOs. Your primary mission is to turn our 2026 flagship events—Mandela Day, Women’s Month, the Auction Dinner—into fully funded, brand‑integrated corporate partnerships. We have the impact, the decks, and the national reputation; we need you to get into the room and close the deal. THIS IS A SALES JOB. Campaign management and event experience are important, but if you cannot sell, this role is not for you. You will identify corporate prospects, build relationships, pitch sophisticated sponsorship packages, and close deals imminently. Roles and Responsibilities Proactively identify, approach, and secure corporate sponsors for major annual events, starting immediately with Mandela Day activations. Create and present high‑level proposals for naming rights, CSI partnerships, and ESG‑aligned campaigns (e.g., Auction Dinner, Women’s Day, World Children’s Day). Navigate the full sales cycle—from cold‑calling prospects to leading site visits in underserved communities to show sponsors the impact of their investment. Coordinate with creative and events teams to ensure every sponsor ROI is met and their relationship with the brand is renewed. Maintain rigid CRM hygiene and pipeline tracking to meet weekly KPIs and reporting requirements for the 2026 campaign cycle. Qualifications And Requirements Proven Track Record: 3‑7 years in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnership management with a history of closing B2B deals of R50,000+. Strategic Literacy: Genuine, functional understanding of CSR, CSI, ESG, and SDG frameworks. Self‑Management: Ability to manage a high‑volume outbound pipeline without hand‑holding and work as part of a high‑functioning multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment. Mobility: Own reliable transport and willingness to travel between activations, including in underserved communities. Professionalism: Strong written and verbal communication for high‑level boardroom presentations. Location: Must be based in Cape Town.
