Sales Trainer | Luxury Lodge Group | Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Trainer for a luxury lodge group based in Cape Town. This live-out role is ideal for a passionate training professional with a strong background in luxury travel sales and a proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programmes across sales and operations teams. Salary: R45,000 (Live-Out) Key Responsibilities Design and deliver comprehensive training programmes for Sales and Operations teams Conduct regular training needs analyses and identify skills gaps in collaboration with HR and the Performance & Development Manager Facilitate onboarding training for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff Develop and implement remedial training plans tailored to individual performance needs Continuously assess and improve training content, delivery methods and effectiveness Formalise, design and maintain all training materials across various formats Work towards the digitisation of training materials, including video content Monitor team training progress and ensure knowledge standards are consistently met Collaborate closely with Sales Directors, Operations Managers and internal stakeholders Training Content Areas Systems training (CRM systems, internal booking systems, communication platforms and payment systems) Sales and operational processes, including enquiry handling, confirmations and audits Client experience and service delivery standards Travel documentation, supplier coordination and itinerary management Destination and product training with a focus on luxury safari experiences End-to-end sales process from enquiry to confirmation Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant in a B2C environment working with inbound international travellers (essential) Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Training Manager or Facilitator role within a travel environment (advantageous) Expert knowledge of East Africa and strong knowledge of Southern Africa destinations In-depth understanding of luxury safari products, accommodation and transport logistics Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) Understanding of training methodologies and facilitation techniques Experience designing training programmes and materials Skills & Attributes Strong ability to transfer knowledge effectively Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Highly organised with strong planning skills Adaptable and responsive to changing training needs Passion for learning, development and people growth Team player with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset Ability to deliver a high standard of service to internal stakeholders Package & Benefits Live-out position based in Cape Town Opportunity to work within a leading luxury travel environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Additional Information Commitment to diversity and inclusion, with all suitably qualified candidates encouraged to apply Strong alignment with company values including service excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr
