Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality mechanical components and systems aligned with project requirements Reverse-engineer measuring equipment, analysing existing designs to recreate, improve, and optimise performance Translate concepts into detailed engineering drawings and production-ready designs Drive seamless integration between design and production, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency Work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to deliver robust solutions Conduct testing, validation, and design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across design and manufacturing processes Maintain precise and up-to-date technical documentation Minimum Requirements: BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical design within a production environment Hands-on experience with reverse engineering and measuring equipment Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Personal Attributes: Driven and solutions-oriented with a passion for engineering excellence Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to production Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
