Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Cold Mill automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, drives, instrumentation and process control systems. Lead root cause analyses for major breakdowns, quality defects, and process interruptions and implement sustainable corrective actions. Implementing preventative and predictive maintenance systems. Executing and managing specialised engineering projects. Manage automation equipment obsolescence and lifecycle upgrades. Using modern information technology tools to analyse, plan and optimise. Support shutdown activities and provide technical support during critical plant breakdowns. Develop and modify PLC logic, control philosophies, interlocks, and HMI applications where required.
