Job Summary Contribute to tactical planning from an operational perspective. Implement and deliver approved marketing plans, whilst building broker relationships in the short term insurance space, specifically the Eastern Cape area. Your primary objective will be to grow new business sales for personal lines, commercial as well as HOC business through bank and various multi distribution channels. Key Responsibilities People Management: Coach, mentor and manage team members toward driving business objectives and ensuring colleague development. Client Liaison and Retention: Responsible for budget within region. Ensure constant monitoring of budget as well as providing input with respect to cost-savings as well as appropriate resource allocation. New Business: Seek opportunities within the short term insurance ecosystem, to ensure optimal cross-sell as well as unlocking opportunities for other Absa business lines including personal lines, commercial as well as homeowners comprehensive. Seek new business opportunities through existing relationships by exercising initiative and being cognizant of potential opportunities. Client Management: Ensure that processes are in place with respect to client management across portfolios such as the account management plan, needs analysis and other relevant documents. Network and Relationship Building: Network with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure client relationships are kept and create and maintain functional relationship and alliances, both internal and external to ensure business continuation and state of the art service delivery. Required Qualifications FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements: Applicable to this role (Advice and Intermediary Service): FSCA-approved qualification regulatory exam for representatives (RE5). Product specific training once onboarded. Class of business training continuous professional development. Attest to honesty, integrity and good standing. Education: Bachelor’s Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
