Duties: Managing the full fund accounting function across multiple investment vehicles Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations Producing accurate investor reporting, capital account statements, and financial reports Maintaining the integrity of fund accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Preparing management accounts, statutory financial statements, and board reporting packs Coordinating month-end and year-end reporting processes Liaising with fund managers, investors, auditors, custodians, brokers, and other stakeholders Supporting external audits and ensuring all regulatory and reporting deadlines are met Assisting with transaction implementation, accounting treatment reviews, and investment-related reporting Contributing to process improvements, financial controls, and operational efficiencies Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Degree Accounting Non Neg BCom Honours in Accounting Non Neg CA(SA), AGA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles Non Neg 4+ years' experience within fund accounting, fund administration, private equity, asset management, or investment fund environments Strong experience with NAV calculations and investor reporting Exposure to private equity, private debt, venture capital, asset management, or alternative investment funds Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel skills Experience working with fund accounting systems and investment reporting platforms Experience within a fund administrator or private equity environment Exposure to investor capital activity, portfolio valuations, and fund performance reporting Experience preparing capital account statements and investment reporting packs Knowledge of fund structures and investment vehicles Skills & Competencies: Strong fund accounting and fund administration expertise.
