Duties & Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, inverters, storage systems, and electrical distribution. Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for solar projects. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards related to solar energy installations. Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to team members. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to ensure successful project delivery. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in solar energy systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and local utility interconnection guidelines. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards for solar installations. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with solar equipment suppliers and vendors. Engage with regulatory authorities, utilities, and industry organizations to stay updated and influence policy decisions.
