This role involves hands-on participation in manual testing, solution design, and delivery, ensuring seamless integration, system stability, and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to elicit and validate product and service requirements. Gain a deep understanding of business processes through observation, engagement, and analysis. Translate business needs into well-structured user stories, ready for use by DevOps and development teams. Prepare and prioritize requirement backlogs linked to proposed solutions. Collaborate with product and service owners to define roadmaps, solution scope, and key outcomes. Define acceptance criteria and measures of success for all features and solutions. Support the creation of detailed business cases, including solution characteristics, effort estimates, and risk considerations. Solution Design (DevOps Context) Translate business requirements into detailed system specifications, capturing all capabilities, interfaces, and functionalities across technologies. Develop modular user stories for system design and development purposes. Use modeling and diagramming tools (e.g., UML, BPMN) to document business processes, system flows, and integration points. Facilitate stakeholder alignment and approvals for requirements and solution designs through workshops, governance forums, and scrum ceremonies. Understand the technical landscape and architecture to define integration points across technology stacks. Work closely with project teams, squads, and engineers to define backlogs, releases, and DevOps planning implications. Continuously improve requirements documentation to enhance clarity and ease of implementation. Participate in solution design reviews, providing feedback on features and functionality. Solution Delivery & Manual Testing Execute manual test cases, analyze results, and provide feedback to development teams. Monitor system stability, resilience, and integration quality during testing and production. Support user acceptance testing by developers, users, and test analysts. Track and prioritize backlogs to ensure effective delivery of solutions. Identify and resolve change requirements during development and testing phases. People & Knowledge Sharing Coach and mentor colleagues across the DevOps team and developing analysts. Conduct peer reviews and problem-solving sessions across teams. Share best practices and lessons learned to improve team performance and solution quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage stakeholders across multiple levels. Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical specifications. Experience with business process modeling, UML, BPMN, or equivalent notation standards. Knowledge of DevOps practices, agile methodologies, and backlog management. Proficiency in manual testing techniques and execution. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, engineers, and product owners. Mentoring and coaching skills to support team development. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field . Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, system design, or DevOps environments. Experience working in cross-functional teams, agile/DevOps environments, and solution delivery projects . Familiarity with technical landscapes, integration points, and multi-system environments.
