Cox South Africa is looking for a Senior Estimator with essential experience in complete Full Wrap EPC construction of Substation builds, Modifications to Eskom Substations and construction of Overhead Lines. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in engineering or similar. Responsibilities, inter alia Development of Candy master across company Bid & proposal management Project cost estimates and preparation Obtaining and adjudicating prices from suppliers and sub-contractors. Generating BOQs from drawings and information provided by clients. Completing BOQs in CCS with detailed cost breakdowns of each bill item. Assisting the planner to generate a detailed project schedule for tender submissions. Reviewing pricing with senior management and identifying potential risks for potential projects. Maintaining of tender database and filing all relevant information in a structured manner. Co-ordinating with different departments to complete all the documentation required for the submission of the tender. Take ownership of the bid process by planning, directing, supervising and controlling the full proposal. Handover bid to construction team on award. Ensure an internal contract close–out with construction team. Supervise multi-functional support personnel identified and involved in the bid process.
