Key Responsibilities Asset & Store Maintenance: Keep the store neat, coordinate repairs, secure assets. Stock Control: Manage stock levels, reorder, identify slow-moving items, conduct stock takes, control shrinkage. Merchandising: Oversee product displays, layout, promotions, and maintain housekeeping standards. Marketing & Sales: Implement promotions, lead staff in displays, participate in marketing activities, achieve sales targets, organize events. Administration & Cash Handling: Maintain admin standards, oversee cash procedures, manage expenses, report daily figures. Security & Risk: Ensure security protocols are followed, monitor security staff, handle alarm calls, ensure health & safety standards. Customer Service: Train staff, assist customers, handle inquiries/complaints, enhance customer satisfaction. People Management: Assign duties, motivate, train, evaluate staff, manage staffing and attendance, conduct meetings.
