Role Overview This is a manager role within the IQVIA Global Health Economics and HTA team with a focus on health technology assessment (HTA) and strategic offerings to support our clients with designing an evidence generation and dissemination strategy that meets HTA requirements and optimises market access. The primary focus is on UK HTA, supporting submissions and engagements with agencies such as NICE and the SMC, although flexibility exists to work on other products and geographies. Responsibilities Shape and lead the team and offerings, working closely with senior leadership and global centres of excellence. Manage business development, proactively building client relationships and understanding their strategic goals and milestones. Set HTA project strategy and direction, with an emphasis on UK HTA processes and requirements; identify challenges to product value and develop risk mitigation strategies. Lead the project delivery team on dossiers, submission support, early scientific advice, and other strategic HTA offerings; contribute to multi‑country and global HTA projects. Mediating, negotiating, and problem‑solving within and outside the immediate project team. Train and mentor junior team members to develop their career as HTA specialists. Collaborate with internal IQVIA teams, including technical consultants, Market Access, Patient‑Centered Solutions, HTA Accelerator Solutions, database studies, and local global network teams. Engage with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients and their affiliate teams. Lead thought leadership activities such as conference abstracts, posters, white papers, peer‑reviewed publications, and intern thesis guidance. Provide line management, depending on interests. Qualifications Postgraduate degree or higher in a relevant discipline (HTA, health economics, medicine, pharmacy, epidemiology, public health, etc.) and at least 4 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrable commercial awareness and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry; a network of HEOR contacts is highly desirable. Project management experience. Previous consultancy experience is highly desirable. Commercial acumen and proven consultancy skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English. Quantitative skills, including econometrics and familiarity with statistical software packages such as STATA or R, are desirable. Benefits Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.
