Huawei Technologies South Africa (Pty) Ltd is expanding its Cloud Business team in Cape Town and is looking for an experienced South African Cloud Business Development Manager with strong Cloud Presales, Partner Management and Enterprise Relationship-building skills. If you’re passionate about cloud transformation, understand the Public Cloud landscape (Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and can drive business outcomes with partners and customers, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities Own and deliver Cloud sales targets (KPIs) by identifying, developing and closing cloud business opportunities. Lead projects end-to-end as the Project Owner, integrating internal & external resources to ensure successful customer outcomes and win-win engagements. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and partners within Huawei’s Cloud ecosystem. Drive cloud business expansion across target industries including Media & Entertainment, E-commerce and FinTech. Support technical engagements such as solution design, cloud architecture discussions, PoC testing, migration planning, and customer enablement. Enable partners and customers through training, workshops, and ongoing support to strengthen cloud adoption. What You Bring (Minimum Requirements) 5+ years’ experience in Public Cloud sales, Cloud Business Development or Cloud Presales. Hands‑on experience with Huawei Cloud and/or familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud . Strong understanding of Public Cloud technologies: IaaS, PaaS, containers/Docker, cloud storage, IoT, AI, HPC, disaster recovery. Solid experience in customer and channel development , including methodology and execution. Ability to identify, qualify, and expand cloud opportunities in enterprise accounts. Excellent communication, relationship‑building and project management capabilities. Afrikaans‑speaking candidates based in Cape Town preferred.
