Our client, operating within the renewable energy sector, is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to take ownership of core reporting and compliance functions. This opportunity offers exposure to a fast-evolving industry where accuracy and financial insight are key to sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities: Prepare annual financial statements in line with applicable standards Manage VAT and tax calculations, submissions, and compliance Process journals and perform detailed reconciliations Compile and analyse income statements and balance sheets Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records Assist with month-end and reporting processes Support audits and maintain compliance with internal controls Provide financial insights to support business decision-making Experience: BCom Accounting degree Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles 35 years post-articles experience in a similar role Exposure to the renewable energy industry preferred Skills: Strong financial reporting and technical accounting ability Solid VAT and tax knowledge High attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills Proficient in Excel Ability to meet tight deadlines in a structured environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Apply now and be part of a sector shaping the future.
