Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our Renewable Energy Team . The ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy funding transactions, strong communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and investors. This role involves analysing renewable energy projects’ capital-raising potential, structuring deals, and closing capital-raising transactions with institutional investors. Key Responsibilities Assess investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector across Europe and Africa . Act as a dealmaker – structure and execute renewable energy capital-raising transactions. Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors. Prepare financial models, investor presentations, and deal documentation to successfully match institutional investor capital with renewable energy projects requiring funding . Qualifications & Skills Essential: Bachelor of Commerce (Hons), Bachelor of Business Science, or Bachelor of Engineering Preferred: CA(SA) or CFA or Master of Engineering Technical Expertise: Financial & investment analysis in the renewable energy sector . Deal structuring & investor negotiations in the renewable energy sector . Proven ability to close capital-raising transactions in the renewable energy sector with sophisticated institutional investors. Key Competencies Strong interpersonal skills & ability to engage with renewable energy project owners and institutional investors . High integrity & strong work ethic. Strategic & analytical mindset.
