Supply Chain Manager Within ADM South Africa, you will be responsible for the Demand & Supply Planning for Human Nutrition in South Africa and the southern cone of Africa. Your primary focus will be to lead and improve the S&OP process for the region and for all our product ranges including Beverages, Flavorings, Specialty Ingredients etc. You will have a team of Supply Planning Coordinators, Orders-, Invoicing- and Export resources. You will work in close collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, procurement and finance departments. Main Tasks Sales & Operations Process Management, Inventory Management, Customer Service & Communication, Supplier Relationship & Continuous Improvement Responsibilities Sales & Operations Process Management Lead, implement and improve the S&OP process for Human Nutrition business units Lead Demand and Supply Planning meetings; together with sales, operations and finance teams, make recommendations (scenario planning) to meet all business objectives. Conduct regular business and performance reviews with Finance, Operations and Sales departments; identify potential risks (service, cost) and recommend mitigating actions. Maintain visibility of our manufacturing constraints and drive effective supply planning activities. Balance capacity between factories, co-manufacturers and other origins in the region. Support the business to launch New Products and rationalise and optimise our product portfolio. Partner with business developers, co‑manufacturing team and quality department to secure accurate data & parameters (bill of materials, safety stock…) in our ERP and APS systems. Inventory Management Implement and maintain inventory and material management strategies for all products and optimise inventory levels. Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimise write‑offs. Customer Service & Communication Manage the Commercial Admin Team, ensuring agility and customer excellence. Analyse sales order books to address proactively any customer service risk, in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Service and logistics teams. Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and recommend corrective action plans. Supplier relationship and Continuous Improvement Take part in the Quarterly Performance review with our key manufacturing partners and raw materials, packaging and warehouse suppliers. Collaborate with the team to develop best practices and participate in all continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, secure supply and/or reduce costs. Partner with stakeholders along the value chain to further improve logistical footprint in Sub‑Sahara Region.
